Her work sits between painting and printmaking, creating bold and distinctive works on paper that take inspiration from her local environment. She is at times influenced by Aboriginal Art but can also produce extremely impressive abstract Art.
Her aim is to give pleasure to those who view her work. In this endeavor she succeeds. She uses her printmaking skills to produce impressive prints of her artwork. Her prints are on sale at her website and are well worth a viewing.
There will be no First Monday in April because of Easter.
The next Art Appreciation gathering will be May 4th when we will hear from Anita Laurence as she talks about her practice and her exhibitions. Anita lives in the King Valley.
