Cooking Together is well underway with a full contingent of 10 participants. We meet on Fridays and at our '@u3a' sessions have learnt how to make lemonade scones, both sweet and savory and a quick version of curried sausages. We even had a delicious self-saucing pudding for dessert. Orientation session at U3A - 'Lemonade' scones - Friday 17 July 'Butterscotch self-saucing pudding!' Cooking Together @U3A, Friday 31 July Every second week we are going to FCJ to join their Year 11 Community Service students. We had a great few hours preparing and cooking Red Thai curry soup with a toasted sandwich accompaniment at our first session on Friday 24 July. FCJ has a wonderful facility, and we are looking forward to visiting them again during August.
