Begbie, a sometime resident of Benalla, has portrayed a fractured family of bossy father and four adult siblings. Sophie, frivolous and unable to settle in any job has avoided contact with her siblings; Christine has become a super organising wife; and Jenny withdrawn and partnered, has stayed on a nearby farm and assisted her father when needed.

He changes his will and requires the four to come together and in four days after his death, build a coffin for his funeral. If they fail the task, the local solicitor will inherit his whole estate.
